Love the shots! I love trains also (and so does my grandson)...
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice collection of photos. Trains are fun to photograph since you can take shots from many different angles. Good post!
ReplyDeleteNice train pictures ! Now I wonder why I haven't thought of trains, we had a general strike yesterday and no train was running, lol !
ReplyDeletegreat photos!
ReplyDeleteI've ridden on trains twice in my life.
I've thought it would be fun to take a train across Canada.
I love seeing trains rumbling through the mountains.
Really great photos -- I especially like the first one. I've ridden various trains but the best would have to be the one I rode from England to Belgium , with a trip on a ferry! Old style train with compartments with sofa like seating!
ReplyDeleteNice photos! I agree, trains have something mystical, not quite, but almost a thing of the past - as sad as it is. Although I just had a very nice trip in Germany on it. ;)
ReplyDeleteSaying 'hello' via Alphabe- Thursday - mine for letter 'T' @ ImagesByCW is about the Ticino / Valle Verzasca

Trains were a common feature on the prairies where I grew up and I still associate the sound of a train whistle with lots of happy childhood memories. Thank you for reminding me of them today.
ReplyDeleteWe have a wonderful train station nearby with old historical cars...very fun place to visit.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these photos. They are fantastic. My boys used to love trains. When they were very young, I used to take them for a few stops on our local commuter line, stop and have lunch, then turn back around and come home again. Those were such sweet days.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are terrific.
ReplyDeleteThe top one is amazing.
I have always been drawn to trains and the perceived romance of them.
I loved this.
